PWRC MEMBERS AND GUESTS HEAR POSITIVE REMARKS FROM CANDIDATE FOR U.S. SENATE, U.S. HOUSE OF REPESENTATIVES AND STATE DELEGATE

To welcome many new members to their club as well as continue their endeavors to support our Republican candidates, PWRC President, Linda Lerch, invited candidates to speak at their May monthly meeting. Over 50 members and guests heard from special guest speaker, Jim Rutledge, running for U.S. Senate, Christine Thron, Maryland’s 8th district candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives and Dan Compos, candidate for state delegate in District 17.

As a Republican constitutional conservative running for U.S. Senate, Jim Rutledge outlined his political reform measures within a program called “CAMPAIGN FOR FREEDOM”. The real goals of this campaign, Jim told the audience, include “solutions for job creation, economic prosperity and a strong national security based on creativity”. In order to make “America great once again”, the candidate promised that, as a U.S. Senator, his role would be to “lower taxes, limit government rule and strive for a strong national security system.”
