RCWRC MAY LUNCHEON/MEETING:
RCWRC CONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT FOR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES

Demonstrating their allegiance to support Republican candidates for office this year, the RCWRC hosted Congressional District 8 candidates and a County Council District 1 candidate at the club's monthly meeting in May at Alfio's Restaurant. Club Members and guests heard the positive, political views of these candidates who urged all to volunteer their efforts to help get out the vote for a win in November

MARYLAND REPUBLICAN PARTY STATE CHAIRMAN, AUDREY SCOTT, SHARES HER PROGRAMS AND REPUBLICAN PARTY IDEALS WITH ROCK CREEK CLUB MEMBERS

“The mood of the country and of Maryland want change – change to return to the basics of the conservative principles of the Republican Party” – this was the theme enthusiastically spoken by Audrey Scott, State Chairman, and echoed by all guests at the recent Rock Creek WRC March meeting. The Chairman outlined the political, communication and financial plans she recently incorporated to refine the conservative message of what is needed – a representative voice – adding that “we need to work on smaller government, lower taxes and individual responsibility.”

Together with the President of MFRW, Ruth Umbel, the President of RCWRC, Ruth Melson, club members and guests, an atmosphere of positive political responsibility permeated the room. This feeling will be prominent at the Spring Board meeting of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women on April 9-10 in Rockville.
